Our Program
The Youth With Purpose program consists of Extended-day Activities, Field Trips, and Service Learning (Nursing Home Visits, Feeding the Homeless, Middle School Peer Mentoring, and Humanitarian Outreach).
Our program’s successes include a sophomore who is attending Pepperdine University on a $161,000 scholarship and is currently interning at the White House, Office of Presidential Correspondence; a recent graduate involved in gang activity before joining Youth With Purpose, improved to the extent that he served as YWP President his senior year; a junior participates in the White House Mentorship Program; and two seniors who recently participated in the American Legion Girls’ State, a summer program that prepares female leaders for public service careers.
